Digital Ink Solutions (“we”, “us”, or “our”) develops Zeet, the companion app for compatible connected electric vehicles. This policy covers the Zeet app, its supporting services, and this website.

Information used to connect your vehicle

Zeet processes the account details needed to connect to your vehicle provider. These can include your email or username, password, authentication tokens, vehicle identifiers such as VIN, and your vehicle PIN when configured. Credentials are stored using iOS Keychain on your device. Zeet also sends a credential bundle to its backend, where it is encrypted at rest and used to communicate with the vehicle provider for background features.

Vehicle information and history

Zeet processes vehicle status such as battery level, estimated range, charging status, odometer, tire pressure, vehicle location, and other vehicle status information. Backend services retain vehicle snapshots and telemetry to provide updates and driving and charging insights. Trip history can include precise locations at trip endpoints. This information can be associated with your vehicle registration and Zeet account identity.

Background features

Zeet uses backend services for background vehicle updates, scheduled tasks, notifications, history, and other connected features. It processes schedules, command records, push notification tokens, device or member identifiers, and operational records needed to deliver and troubleshoot these features. The app may create a backend account identity when you connect.

Apple Watch, widgets, and other services

Zeet shares the information needed for its Apple Watch companion, widgets, Siri, and Shortcuts. The Watch can receive a scoped service binding for supported actions. Vehicle providers process requests under their own policies. Apple services provide maps, weather, device integration, and notification delivery. Weather features may also send vehicle coordinates to Open-Meteo. Zeet uses DigitalOcean and Supabase infrastructure to operate supporting services.

How long information is retained

The current history configuration retains telemetry samples for up to 90 days, charge curves for up to 120 days, and certain derived analytics for up to 730 days. Active vehicle registrations, credentials, schedules, and device bindings are retained as needed to provide connected features. Operational records and backups can have separate retention periods. These periods may change as the service develops.

Disconnecting and requesting deletion

Signing out removes your device’s local session and initiates removal of its background memberships, push tokens, and schedules. Shared vehicle records can remain where another authorized member still uses the vehicle. Signing out does not necessarily delete every backend account record, historical record, or backup.

To request access, correction, or deletion of information held by Zeet, contact [email protected]. We may need to verify your request. Do not include your password, vehicle PIN, or authentication tokens. Deleting information from Zeet does not delete your manufacturer account.

Website and support enquiries

This website does not include advertising trackers or a mailing list form. Cloudflare and our hosting provider process connection information, such as IP addresses and request details, to deliver and protect the site. If you email us, we receive your email address and the information you choose to include so we can respond.

Security

Zeet uses encrypted network connections, secure device storage, and encryption of backend credential bundles. The backend must be able to decrypt credentials to perform supported vehicle operations. No storage or transmission method is guaranteed to be completely secure.

Your choices and rights

You can manage notification permissions in iOS, disconnect your vehicle, and contact us about information held by Zeet. Depending on where you live, applicable privacy laws may provide additional rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of personal information.

Children and policy changes

Zeet is intended for people authorized to use a compatible vehicle and is not directed to children under 13. We may update this policy as features change; the date above identifies the latest version.
